Privacy policy
Tikkalo is an app where trainers and tutors plan lessons and keep track of payments with their clients. This page explains what data we process, why, where, and what your rights are.
1. Who is the controller
The controller of your data as an app user is Patryk Chlebda Consulting, ul. Marcelińska 82/7, 60-341 Poznań, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 7792145202 ("we"). Contact for data matters: hello@tikkalo.com.
2. Client data entered by a trainer
When you, as a trainer, enter your clients into Tikkalo (names, contacts, lessons, payments), you are the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf, only to make the app work. The terms set out how. Only enter what you need to run your lessons and payments.
3. What data we process
- Account: email address, name, chosen language, when you accepted the terms. If you sign in with Google, Google gives us your email and name.
- Data in the app: your business, lesson types, prices, clients, lessons, packages, payments and notes that you enter.
- Technical data: app and system version and, when the app crashes, an error report without your personal data or anything from the app.
We do not sell data, show ads, or track you across other apps.
4. Why, and on what legal basis
- Running your account and the app – performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Security, error reports and preventing abuse – our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Account messages such as the sign-in code – performance of the contract.
- Legal duties such as tax, once paid plans exist (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
5. Where the data is and who helps us
We store data in the European Union. We use providers with data processing agreements:
- Supabase – database and sign-in, servers in Frankfurt (Germany).
- Sentry – error reports, servers in the EU (Germany).
- Brevo – sending sign-in code emails (France).
- Expo – delivering app updates.
- Google – if you choose to sign in with Google.
Where a provider transfers data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. How long
We keep data for as long as you have an account. When you delete it (Settings → Delete account), we erase the account and everything in it straight away, payment history included. Backups are overwritten within days, at the latest after 30 days.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can do most of this yourself in the app: correct your details in Settings, download a copy of all your data (a JSON file) and delete your account. For anything else, write to us. You may also complain to a data protection authority, in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).
8. Age
Tikkalo is for people aged 18 or over.
9. Changes
When we change this policy, the app shows the new version and asks you to accept it.
